एक बुलेट में वाहन चालक द्वारा रेट्रो साइलेंसर से पटाखों की आवाज निकालकर ध्वनि प्रदूषण फैलाकर आम जनता को परेशान किया जा रहा था, जिसे पिथौरागढ़ पुलिस टीम द्वारा रोककर सीज किया गया। साथ ही पुलिस द्वारा यातायात नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वाले 36 वाहन चालकों के विरुद्ध एम0वी0 एक्ट के तहत तथा मिशन मर्यादा का उल्लंघन करने वाले 13 लोगों के विरूद्ध चालान की कार्यवाही की गयी।

In one Bullet, the driver of the vehicle was causing noise pollution by emitting the sound of firecrackers from the retro silencer and causing noise pollution, which was stopped and seized by the Pithoragarh Police Team. अपर मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी विजय कुमार जोगदंडे ने सचिवालय स्थित मीडिया सेंटर में प्रेस ब्रीफिंग करते हुए कहा कि भारत निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा वृद्ध व दिव्यांग मतदाताओं हेतु विभिन्न सुविधाएं प्रदान की जाती हैं। राज्य में कुल 65 हजार 160 वृद्ध मतदाता हैं। उन्होंने  बताया कि वृद्ध मतदाओं को पोस्टल बैलेट के माध्यम से घर से ही वोट करने की सुविधा का निर्णय निर्वाचन आयोग ने लिया था। राज्य में अभी तक 09 हजार 993 वृद्ध मतदाताओं के आवेदन प्राप्त हुए हैं।

Additional Chief Electoral Officer Vijay Kumar Jogdande, while giving a press briefing in the media center located at the Secretariat, said that the Election Commission of India provides various facilities to the elderly and disabled voters. There are a total of 65 thousand 160 elderly voters in the state. He said that the Election Commission had taken the decision to provide the facility to elderly voters to vote from home through postal ballot. So far, applications from 09 thousand 993 elderly voters have been received in the state.

The authorities have geared up to open National Highway No. 72A i.e. Delhi-Dehradun Expressway to the public within 2 months. हेलीकॉप्टर से केदारनाथ धाम की यात्रा अब महंगी होने वाली है। 10 मई को केदारनाथ धाम के कपाट खुलने के बाद तीर्थ यात्रियों के लिए हेली सेवा का संचालन शुरू होगा। बता दें पिछले साल केदारनाथ धाम का एकतरफा किराया  यात्रा के दौरान सिरसी से केदारनाथ के लिए 2749 रुपए, फाटा से केदारनाथ के लिए 2750 रुपए, गुप्तकाशी से केदारनाथ के लिए 3870 रुपए प्रति व्यक्ति हेलीकॉप्टर का किराया था। इस साल इस किराए में पांच प्रतिशत बढ़ोतरी की जाएगी।
